What's a fanmix?

A fanmix is a compilation of songs inspired by a fannish source, such as a fandom, character, or ship.
What about these monthly prompts?
The monthly prompts are optional. You can post any fanmix you want, any time! As a little inspiration, I will post a prompt on the 1st of each month.
What if I want to make a mix for my original fiction project/seasonal vibes/some other non-fandom inspiration?
Great! Just use the tag fandom: original. (Read this for more information on how to tag non-fandom mixes.)
Posting guidelines
I want to make a fanmix!Great! You can post here any time and choose to use the monthly prompt… or not.
In your post, please make sure that you include…
Required
- Track listing
- Link to the playlist on a streaming service (No MP3 download links)
- Include tags
- creator: [your username]
fandom: [your fandom]
If you used a prompt: challenge X: [whatever] *I'll create the tag each month so it's easy to use. - The header should be [fandom]: [fanmix title]
- Lyric excerpt
- Commentary about why you chose the songs
- Album cover (…but don't use someone else's fanart without permission!)
Put track listing and lyrics (optional) under a cut to save everyone's flist.
